An on-site ERP moved to the cloud.
We lifted an aging on-site ERP into a secure cloud system.
The challenge
The company depended on an ERP that ran on a server humming in a back room. If the office lost power or someone was traveling, the whole system was out of reach. Backups were manual and easy to forget, and the software was old enough that finding anyone to support it had become a real problem.
What we built
- A cloud version of the ERP that runs the same core workflows the team already knew
- Inventory, orders, and purchasing brought into one connected view
- Secure remote access so the team can work from the office, home, or the road
- Automatic backups that run on a schedule with no one having to remember
- A dashboard showing orders, stock on hand, and open purchase orders at a glance
- A careful data migration that moved years of records without losing history
How we approached it
We started by documenting every workflow the old system handled so nothing would be missed. We moved the data in stages and ran the old and new systems side by side until the team trusted the new one. We trained staff on the parts that changed and kept everything else familiar.
The outcome
The team can now work from anywhere, with reliable backups and no server to babysit in a back room. A power outage at the office no longer stops the business. The system is on modern footing that can grow with the company, and the worry of running unsupported software is gone.
What powers it
- Cloud hosting that scales with the business
- Scheduled backups with off-site copies
- Secure remote access from any device
- A connected view of inventory, orders, and purchasing
- A migration plan that preserved every historical record
- Modern infrastructure that is supported and maintained
